| The Chill-Its® 6485 Multi-Band offers head and face protection from the sun, dust and flying debris. Plus, it features moisture-wicking technology to absorb sweat and wick moisture away. This multi-band features supremely versatile performance fabric with a multitude of uses and ways to wear.
HOW TO WEARThis PPE safety headwear is incredibly versatile. The soft, stretchable knit material allows the multi-band to be worn in several different ways – wear as a cooling headband, neck gaiter, face mask or face covering, hat, dew rag and more. It can also be worn under a hard hat to wick moisture on hot days. Anti-Odor treatment keeps it fresh all day long. Hang dry or machine wash as needed.

The proprietary 3M™ Cool Flow™ Exhalation Valve helps reduce heat build up inside the respirator to help keep the wearer more comfortable. The soft inner material provides added comfort while the soft nose foam and adjustable nose clip help provide a custom seal. Braided headbands provide comfort and help minimize pulling of hair.
Suggested applications: Grinding, Sanding, Sweeping, Bagging and other dusty or arid operations. Other uses would also include: Solids, such as those from Textile Operations, Dry Chemical Handling, Surface Preparation, Food Preparation and Handling, Woodworking, Grain Handling and Milling, Processing of Minerals, and certain other substances. Ideally suited for work settings that involve heat, humidity, or long periods of wear.

During the public health emergency of the COVID-19 pandemic, these standard N95 “industrial” respirators may be used by healthcare professionals according to the U.S. FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). 3M™ Particulate Respirator 8210 is not cleared by the U.S. FDA as a surgical mask, as a surgical mask and is not considered fluid resistant, therefore a face shield must be worn during use.
3M™ Particulate Respirator 8210, N95 is a disposable particulate respirator that is designed to help provide reliable respiratory protection of at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain non-oil based particles. This respirator is designed for use for particles such as those from grinding, sanding, sweeping, sawing, bagging, or other dusty operations. This respirator can also help reduce inhalation exposures to certain airborne biological particles (examples: mold, Bacillus anthracis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis), but cannot eliminate the risk of contracting infection, illness, or disease. The respirator incorporates 3M’s proprietary technology with advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media designed for ease of breathing. This respirator is compatible with a variety of protective eyewear and hearing protection. This particulate respirator is NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) approved for environments containing certain non-oil based particles and provides at least 95 percent filter efficiency. Breathing hazardous particles can pose a risk to your health.
